Perry County authorities to receive Law Enforcement Award

PINCKNEYVILLE, IL (KFVS) - Three members of the Perry County Sheriff's Office will receive the 2016 Law Enforcement Award from the Illinois Bar Association.

Sergeant William Reagan and Deputies Reid Bastien and Jeremy Gothard will be recognized Monday, September 26 at the Pinckneyville City Hall/Council Chambers at 2:30 p.m.

Reagan, Bastien and Gothard are being acknowledged for their involvement in the search and rescue operation during a major fire in an apartment building next to the Perry County Jail.

The ISBA's Law Enforcement Award was created to recognize officers for conduct that promotes justice and to distinguish those individuals whose service to the public brings honor and respect to the entire criminal justice system.
