FISK, MO (KFVS) - A body found in a pond near Fisk, Missouri has been identified as a missing Puxico man.
According to Stoddard County Deputy Coroner Aaron Mathis, the body was found in a pond near Fisk, Missouri.
Stoddard County sheriff's deputies responded to a call near State Highway 51 and 60 on June 10 for a possible submerged vehicle.
When they arrived deputies say they found that a vehicle in the water; and after removing it, deputies say it was determined it belonged to 50-year-old Timothy Scott Harbin, of Puxico, who had been reported missing from Butler County on April 5.
Deputies say they found a body inside the vehicle.
An autopsy was performed on June 12 and it was determined the body belonged to Harbin.
According to deputies, preliminary autopsy results showed no obvious signs of foul play.
The investigation into the incident continues.
Other agencies responding to the location included Stoddard County Coroner Kenny Pope, Stoddard County Prosecutor's Office, Butler County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol dive team also responded.
