IL Free Fishing Days comes to Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge over Father's Day weekend

MARION, IL (KFVS) - Illinois Free Fishing Days will take place at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge from Friday, June 17 through Monday, June 20 during the Father´s Day weekend.

During the four-day celebration of fishing in Illinois, anglers can fish without purchasing a fishing license, salmon stamp or inland trout stamp. Also during this time period, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge will not require entrance fees for anyone fishing on refuge waters.

The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
