Marion man sentenced for selling crack cocaine

MARION, IL (KFVS) - A Marion man will spend 10 years in federal prison for selling crack cocaine in Southern Illinois.

According to a release from the Department of Justice, 38-year-old Tommy Langston, also known as "G," pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with conspiracy to distribute 28 grams of crack cocaine.

After serving his prison sentence, Langston will be on supervised release for 8 years and must pay a $400 fine.

According to investigators, Langston sold drugs in Williamson and Jackson Counties from October 2014 to July 2015.

During the investigation that lead to his arrest, Langston sold crack cocaine to confidential sources working for law enforcement.
