Sheriff: Missing Poplar Bluff woman found alive

GREENVILLE, MO (KFVS) - The search for a missing Poplar Bluff woman in Wayne County, Missouri is over.
According to Wayne County Sheriff Dean Finch, Kelly Holcomb, 36, was found alive and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Sheriff Finch said Holcomb was found in the vicinity of the Highway Missionary Baptist Church, located on highway 67 in Greenville, MO.
Authorities had been searching for Holcomb since May 4. Sheriff Finch said this is still an ongoing investigation.
He said on Monday, May 9, Holcomb was still in the hospital but expected to be released soon.
No one is facing any charges at this point.
Prior to being found, Holcomb was last seen on walking south of the Greenville, Mo. area on Hwy. 67 near County Road 546.
Sheriff Finch said it is unclear if foul play was involved.
The pastor of Highway Missionary Baptist Church said a worker with the Missouri Department of Transportation turned in a phone to him that was found off the side of a road near the church on Thursday morning.
He said someone called the phone on Friday morning asking for Kelly. The phone was then turned in to the Wayne County Sheriff's Department.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is also assisting with the investigation.
