Big Game Recipes – Buffalo Chicken Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are a staple of any sort of get-together; but if you're gathering for the big game – you need to kick it up a notch! This Game Day Recipe combines two party favorites: deviled eggs and Buffalo wings to create a spicy appetizer that's a real crowd pleaser.


  • 1 dozen hard-boiled eggs (peeled and cut in half with yolks removed and set aside)
  • ½ cup cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • Buffalo wing sauce
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce (more or less to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped celery (plus extra to garnish)


In a medium bowl, pour just enough Buffalo wing sauce to cover the shredded chicken and set aside.

In a large bowl mash 12 egg yolks and butter. Stir in two teaspoons of celery and Tabasco sauce.

Add the chicken and wing sauce mixture to the yolk mixture and mix until well-combined.

Arrange egg halves on a platter.

Scoop yolk/chicken mixture into one corner of a gallon-sized plastic bag and snip off the tip of the bag's corner to create a piping bag.

Squeeze out about a Tablespoon of mixture into each halved egg.

Garnish with finely diced celery.
