Sheriff: Crime spree suspects commit theft in southeast MO
CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Authorities say the Missouri couple accused of kidnapping and theft across multiple states were allegedly involved in a robbery and police chase through Cape Girardeau County.
A nationwide manhunt for Blake Fitzgerald and Brittany Harper, both 31 and from Joplin, Missouri, kicked off after they began a crime spree across three cities in Alabama on Sunday, Jan. 31.
According to Capt. David James with Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, the same couple is suspected of stealing a Cadillac from Webb City, Missouri before committing the alleged crimes in Alabama.

That Trailblazer was later found Monday in Alabama.
