Dyersburg PD search for robbery, assault suspects

DYERSBURG, TN (KFVS) - Dyersburg police are searching for two suspects after a fight over money led to a gun being fired.

Police say 18-year-old Breon Watson, of Dyersburg, and 19-year-old Davontae Harvey, of Trimble, are wanted on charges of attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

According to the Dyersburg Police Department, police were dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of Hillcrest Avenue after a report of a report of a gunshots and people fighting in the street.

A resident told police someone knocked on the door. When the resident opened the door, the person was confronted by three men dressed in dark clothing with a gun.

The suspects demanded money, which led to a fight over the gun.

Police say a single gunshot was fired during the altercation, but no one was shot.

The suspects continued to fight and then ran away.

Police were able to identify the three suspects and later located the juvenile involved in the incident.

However, Watson and Harvey are still at large.
