(KFVS) - Let's drop a couple of quarters in our jukebox of memories.

This morning we see what we were listening to on the radio back in 1967.

Billboard's Hot 100 had The Mamas and the Papas at number 5 with Words of Love.

At number 4 was the Seekers with the title song from the movie Georgy Girl.

A novelty song was in the number three spot. Inspired by the comic strip "Peanuts", the Royal Guardsmen had a hit about a dog battling a World War 1 German flying ace.  Remember Snoopy vs the Red Baron.

At number two was Aaron Neville with Tell It Like It Is.  That song has been covered by various artists over the years including: Otis Redding, Michael McDonald and the band Heart.
And in the top spot was a song written by Neil Diamond and recorded by The Monkees. I'm a Believer spent seven weeks at number one.  It comes in at number 48 on Billboard's ranking of the greatest songs of all-time.

There you have it, the music from this week in 1967.
