MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested an individual Tuesday, Dec. 29 in Paducah on two indictment warrants charging him with two counts of 1st degree trafficking in cocaine, 2nd offense.
In November detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department conducted an undercover investigation where two separate cocaine purchases were made from Joseph G. Conner. 32, of Paducah.
The case was then presented to a McCracken County Grand Jury on Friday, Dec. 18. Conner was indicted on two counts of 1st degree trafficking in controlled substance, his second offense.
Detectives located and arrested Conner along with his girlfriend, Shanice Skinner, 23, of Paducah, on Tuesday.
Skinner was arrested on an unrelated Graves County bench warrant.
A search warrant was then executed at the couple's home in Paducah. During a search of the residence, detectives found and seized quantities of cocaine, marijuana and other assorted drug paraphernalia.
Conner was on felony parole at the time of his arrest. He has numerous prior felony convictions for trafficking in cocaine, robbery, assault, wanton endangerment, convicted felon in possession of handgun and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
