Dyersburg police are asking for the public's help in aiding an investigation into a shooting that injured two people Wednesday night.
Officials received a call to the 1300 block of Cumberland in reference to a subject that had been shot on Wednesday shortly after 8 p.m.
Officers arrived and found that two subjects had been shot inside of a vehicle.
One of the subjects was a 29-year-old male that had been shot in the forearm.
He was transported from the scene by EMS and flown directly to Regional One in Memphis for treatment.
The other subject was a 35-year-old male that was shot in the hand.
He was transported to Tennova of Dyersburg Hospital and later transferred to Regional One in Memphis as well.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information is urged to call 311 for the Dyersburg Police Department, or Crime Stoppers at 285-TIPS.
