Crews battle house fire in St. Mary

ST. MARY, MO (KFVS) - Several fire departments responded to a house fire in St. Mary Monday afternoon.

Assistant Fire Chief Frank Ullman says the fire started at the back side of two-story vacant brick house.

It happened around 1:49 p.m. on 2nd Street.

Ste. Genevieve and Ozora fire department were also toned out.

It took crews about an hour to put out the fire.

New truck was used for the first time.

The state fire marshal was called to the scene.
