Paducah man, TN woman arrested after alleged robbery

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah man and a woman from Tennessee were arrested Saturday after another Paducah man says he was robbed by them.

At approximately 6 p.m., Brandon Duncan, 23, of Paducah contacted 911, saying that he was attempting to sell two cell phones to Joshua Luna, 24, of Paducah, when he robbed him at gun point.

Investigation revealed that during the transaction, Luna took possession of the phones.

Luna then got into his car with four small children and two women, Savanah Adams, 22, of Paducah, and Ashley Brashears, 24, of Tennessee.

Once he was in the car, he allegedly brandished a revolver at Duncan advising him to get back, then drove away.

Duncan gave a description and direction the vehicle was going, which was found by deputies traveling on Clarks River Rd.

The weapon was found inside the vehicle and was identified as being a realistic revolver pellet gun.

The phones were also located.

Both Luna and Brashears were arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Jail.

They were then both were charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence.

Adams was cited and released for no registration plates, no registration receipt, license to be in possession, failure of owner to maintain insurance, and failure to notify DOT of address change.

An investigation is ongoing.
