HERRIN, IL (KFVS) - Officials at the Williamson County Sheriff's Office received a meaningful show of appreciation from local schoolchildren on Thursday.
Students and staff at North Side Primary School in Herrin, Herrin Elementary School, Unity Christian School, and Robins Nest Day Care sent appreciation cards and a "survival kit" to the Sheriff's office today.
The cards were all handmade, and the kits included candy for the sheriff and his deputies.
