Officers recover nearly 3 pounds of marijuana during Carter Co. traffic stop

CARTER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Carter County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol recovered more than 2 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 60.
According to Carter County Sheriff Richard Stephens, on Oct. 5 they pulled a vehicle over on Hwy. 60.
He said the investigation lead to the recovery of 33.2 ounces, or 2.075 pounds, of marijuana.
