Sheriff: One of Massac County's most wanted captured in Joppa

MASSAC COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Massac County Sheriff's Department reports after several months of searching, deputies located 44-year-old Jeffery Ogle on Sunday.

The sheriff's department reports tips from the past few days let authorities to a camp site in Joppa, where Ogle was taken into custody without incident.

Ogle is facing charges for violating an order of protection and intimidation.

Deputies with Massac County will file additional charges stemming from prior incidents. They include: theft of government property, fleeing and resisting arrest, theft and criminal damage to property.

The Pope County Sheriff's Office is also expected to file charges against Ogle for residential burglary and theft.

Ogle is being held without bond. He is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
