DU QUOIN, IL (KFVS) - The First Annual Rubber Ducky Derby was held at the Du Quoin State Fair Sunday and it raised $40,000 to benefit Special Olympics.

Eight thousand rubber ducks were sold for the event. The rubber ducks were launched into the lake on the Du Quoin State Fair grounds and raced.

More than 100 people attended the event including Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, Congressman Mike Bost, and Representative Terri Bryant.
