SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - All lanes of Interstate 55 at the 77 mile marker are back open after a vehicle fire Monday afternoon.

Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter says a pickup truck caught fire Monday afternoon and the driver stopped in the median.

Ammunition in the truck started going off, so authorities shut down both north and southbound lanes for a while.

Some grass in the median also caught fire.

The interstate was blocked by deputy and fire crews, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Department.

No one was injured.
