CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Missouri law enforcement across the state will be cracking down on drivers under the influence by participating in a St. Patrick's DWI enforcement campaign.

The CGPD will be working with the Southeast Missouri DWI task force in a sobriety checkpoint starting March 14 to March 17.

"If you have any doubt about your sobriety, do not get behind the wheel. If you do chose to drive impaired, you will be arrested," said Chief Wes Blair. "No warnings. No excuses. Driving drunk is simply not worth the risk. So don't take the chance."
