SB passing I-55 lanes at 132-134 mm open after vehicle fire in Perry County, MO

PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A tractor trailer is on fire at the 133.6 mm on southbound Interstate 55 in Perry County, Missouri.

According to the sheriff's office, a deputy said the passing lanes at the 132-134 mile markers SB are now open. The right lanes there are closed.

The Perry County Sheriff's Department asks drivers to avoid traveling south on I-55 in this area.

The fire happened at about 9:20 a.m. Crews were still cleaning up the roadway Saturday afternoon.

The driver of the truck made it out okay. No injuries were reported.
