Hearing for man accused of spreading HIV set back
BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A hearing setting a trial date for a Stoddard County man accused recklessly exposing HIV to people has been set back.
Court papers show David Mangum's case was continued last Tuesday, and is now set for August 5, 2014 at 1 p.m. for plea or trial setting in front of Judge Michael Pritchett in the Division I room in Butler County.
Mangum faces a charge of reckless exposure to HIV infection after police say he admitted to having more than 300 partners with 50 to 60 of those in Stoddard County.
