Doe Run Fire District promotes forest fire prevention

DOE RUN, MO (KFVS) - The Doe Run Fire District is inviting the public to an open house for education in preventing wild land fires and mitigation.

"We are opening our fire station to the public to better educate them on how to prevent a forest fire", Mike Kelso, Fire Chief, Doe Run Fire District. "We are wanting to help the public be safe during our drought."

The public in invited to attend the free public education on Saturday, September 15 from 10 a.m. to Noon.
