Crews called to boat fire at Hickman harbor

HICKMAN, KY (KFVS) - Crews were called to a tug boat fire at Hickman harbor late Wednesday morning.
According to the Fulton County Kentucky Sheriff's Office, the tug boat was tied up at the Wepfer Marine mooring.
Deputies say it caught fire in what appears to be in the engine room area.
According to the sheriff's office, the marine crew members initially began fighting the fire. They were then joined by the crew of the Hickman-Dorena Ferry, the Hickman Fire Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, and mutual aid from the Cayce Fire Department.
No known injuries were reported. Deputies say the fire is in the process of being contained.
