2-trucks collide in McCracken County, 3 injured

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash Saturday in McCracken County.

It happened shortly before 12:45 p.m. on US 62-Reidland Road.

According to deputies, James Elders, 62, of Alabama was driving a 2005 Chevrolet truck in the right eastbound lane of Reidland Road when he turned left suddenly into the left eastbound lane to turn into a parking lot.

Deputies say a truck driven by Kevin Wyatt, 42, was in the left eastbound lane and couldn't stop in time to avoid the collision with Elders' truck.

Both drivers and a passenger in Elders' truck was taken to Western Baptist Hospital and Lourdes Hospital for treatment.

Deputies say traffic was detoured from Reidland Road for around one hour due to clean-up of the collision scene.
