MAYFIELD, KY (KFVS) - Two people have died after a late night shooting Wednesday in Mayfield.  One other person was hospitalized and two men arrested.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says Ashley N. Lambert, 25, of the Dublin community passed way around 1 p.m. Wednesday.  He says she died as a result of her injuries she sustained from a single gunshot wound she received.

Jonathon Cagle, 22, of Mayfield died at 8:35 a.m. Thursday from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says the shooting took place on Rule Shack Road at 10:45 p.m.  Redmon says deputies have apprehended both suspects.

Redmon says the two suspects fired shots at a house and three of the four people inside were hit by bullets. They were taken to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center and then air lifted to hospital trauma centers out of state.

Sheriff's deputies arrested one of the suspects, 29-year-old Kenon Andrews, around 3 a.m. after a high speed car chase and a crash that ended at the intersection of KY339 and KY1748 in Dublin.

The second suspect, 28-year-old Jacob Carder of Wingo, remained at large until just before noon.  He was captured in the Dublin area.

Carder has been charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.  Andrews was charged with three counts of attempted murder.  Redmon says Andrews charges will be amended up to one count of murder at his next court appearance.

Both Carder and Andrews have been scheduled for preliminary hearings in Graves District Court on Wednesday, April 4.
