Several injured in Madison Co. fiery crash

MADISON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A fiery crash Saturday sends several persons to the hospital in Madison County.

The crash happened around 3:00 Saturday afternoon on business 67 in Cherokee Pass.

Troopers say 27-year-old Amber Lewis of Bixby didn't stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of another vehicle driven by 18-year-old Whitney Kemp of Fredericktown.

Both vehicles went off the road, down an embankment and caught fire.

40-year-old Robert berry of Fredericktown, a passenger in Kemp's car, was seriously injured in the crash, Kemp had only minor injuries.

Lewis and her passenger, 41-year-old Bruce Copeland both sustained moderate injuries.

All four were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
