Oran, MO man pleads guilty to dumping mail in Diversion Channel

ORAN, MO (KFVS) - An Oran man pleaded guilty Monday to one felony count of delay or destruction of mail.
Lance W. Kinder, 25, admitted to dumping mail in the Diversion Channel instead of delivering it.
Kinder was employed as a postal service worker and dumped the mail some time between Aug. 1, 2009 and Nov. 5, 2009, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Kinder faces a maximum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. His sentencing is set for July 20, 2010.
