West Plains, MO (KFVS) --After only a couple of hours of deliberations the jury in the Lance Shockley murder trial came back with a guilty verdict.
The jury convicted Shockley of first degree murder for the shooting death of Missouri State trooper Dewayne Graham.
The shooting happened four years ago outside Graham's home in Van Buren.
Graham was investigating a wreck that Shockley was allegedly involved in.
Right now the case is in the penalty phase. Members of the victim's family got the opportunity to speak to the court.
