Johnson was arrested on charges of first-degree strangulation, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
On November 9, 2020, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Calloway County Deputies responded to a residence on Browns Grove Road for a report of a stolen vehicle. Deputies met with the owner of a vehicle who reported their vehicle stolen.
Curtis McDonald was indicted alongside Alice Marie Johnson and more than a dozen others for drug trafficking and money laundering. Both went on to receive life sentences, but he was the last connected to the case still in prison.
