Madeline joins Heartland News as the newest member of the First Alert Weather Team.
Originally from New Athens, Illinois, she moved to Carbondale to study journalism at Southern Illinois University. After graduation, she decided to study meteorology at Mississippi State University while working as a multimedia journalist in southern Illinois.
Madeline graduated from Mississippi State in September.
In her free time, she loves reading, watching sappy movies and cooking.
