(KFVS) - Today is noticeably cooler and less humid due to a cold front that moved through.

Winds were a little breezy out of the north with some stratus clouds lingering overhead throughout the afternoon. A few of us were caught under a spot drizzle.

The clouds slowly dissipated throughout the day making way for partly cloudy skies this evening.

First Alert Meteorologist Madeline Parker says temperatures tonight will be much cooler, in the mid to upper 70s with partly cloudy skies. Overnight, we could see some areas with some patchy fog, but it is not expected to be widespread.

High temperatures through the rest of the week and into the weekend will stay in the 80s with mostly sunny skies Thursday through Sunday.

A secondary cold front arrives Friday which may lower dewpoints down to the upper 40s in some areas, making for some cooler temperatures at night.

Evening lows will mostly be in the 60s but a few upper 50s are possible.

As for rain, it does look like next week will bring a more unsettled pattern creating daily showers and storm chances.

Rain chances look the highest on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Afternoon highs will return into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
