State Candidate Races
Governor
The Missouri Governor’s race for November is set.
Republican Mike Kehoe is facing Democrat Crystal Quade.
Republican
- Jay Ashcroft - 162,086
- Bill Eigel - 227,012
- Mike Kehoe - 274,840
Kehoe collected nearly 40 percent of the vote winning the Republican nomination, holding off State Senator Bill Eigel and current Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft. Kehoe called for unity Tuesday last night after a campaign that turned nasty at times. Eigel, who finished second in the race, wished Kehoe the best.

- Crystal Quade - 189,822
Kehoe’s opponent in November will be current Missouri House Minority Leader Crystal Quade. She easily won the Democratic nomination by taking in 50 percent of the vote.
U.S. Senate
Squaring off against Senator Josh Hawley this November will be attorney Lucas Kunce. Four democrats were on the ballot hoping to unseat Hawley--who was uncontested in the Republican primary.

Kunce took in more than 255,000 votes--easily winning the Democratic nomination. The Marine Corps veteran last unsuccessfully ran for Senate against Republican Eric Schmitt in 2022.

Lieutenant Governor
Attorney Dave Wasinger has won the GOP nomination for Lt. Governor of Missouri.

- Holly Rehder - 142,801
- Dave Wasinger - 206,875
Wasinger, a Hannibal native, narrowly defeated State Senator Lincoln Hough of Springfield, winning by about 7,000 votes. State Senator Holly Rehder, of Scott County, finished a distant third in that race.

Missouri Democrats are putting their support behind State Rep Richard Brown.

Brown coasted to an easy victory Tuesday night. He represents the Kansas City area and was a teacher in the city for 23 years before getting into politics.
Attorney General
Republican Andrew Bailey will face off against Democrat Elade Gross in November in the Attorney General’s race.

- Will Scharf - 242,680
Bailey took 63 percent of the vote, defeating Will Scharf for the Republican nomination. Governor Mike Parson appointed Bailey as the state’s Attorney General after former AG Eric Schmitt was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Republican State Sen. Denny Hoskins will face off against Democrat Barbara Phifer in November in the Secretary of State race.

State Senate 27
State Rep. Jamie Burger pulls out the win in what became a very heated race for the District 27 seat. Burger took in 40.9 percent of the vote in holding off Jacob Turner and Chris Dinkins. The district is currently held by Holly Rehder. Burger, like Rehder, is from Scott County. The district includes Scott, Cape, Bollinger, Perry, Madison, Iron and Reynolds Counties.
