RIDGELY, Tenn. (KFVS) - Two earthquakes were detected within a few hours on Monday, May 1 near Ridgely, Tennessee.

According to the USGS, the latest quake was magnitude 2.4 and was recorded at 8:15 p.m.

The epicenter was 2.2 miles east of Ridgely.

At least two people have reported to the USGS that they felt the quake.

The first earthquake was recorded at 12:45 p.m.

According to the USGS, the quake first registered at a magnitude 2.9, but has since been reduced to a magnitude 2.8.

The epicenter was recorded 2.3 miles southeast of Ridgely.

At least 38 people have reported feeling this quake.
