Roads reopened in Trigg County after helicopter crash investigation

TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - Several roads in Trigg County have reopened as of Friday morning, April 7.
They were restricted to local residents only immediately after the crash on Thursday, March 30 to help crews with their response efforts to the crash involving two Fort Campbell helicopters.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the Fort Campbell Public Affairs Office indicated the initial response and investigation into the helicopter crash is to the point where state highways and county roads nearby can open.
The following roads are now open:
KY 272/Canton Pike between U.S. 68 and KY 1175/Old Dover Road (mile point 0.0 to 1.5)
KY 3568/Canton Road between Averitt Road and KY 272 (mile point 2.1 to 2.95)
KY 1062/Maple Grove Church Rd between KY 272/Old Canton Pike at Floyd Sumner Road (mile point 3.2 to 5.3)
County Roads including Bobby Light Road, Oak Grove Church Road and Lancaster Road.
