SEMO wins OVC baseball tournament opener

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The top seeded SEMO baseball team defeated Austin Peay 11-8 Thursday in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament opener in Jackson, Tennessee.
Redhawks hitting star Wade Stauss had two home runs and three runs driven in for Southeast.
SEMO Pitcher Dylan Dodd got the win to improve to 9-1 on the season.
The Redhawks will play the winner of Murray State and Morehead State on Friday at 11 a.m.
