SEMO baseball wins 5th OVC Title

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The SEMO Redhawks won the 5th regular season OVC title in program history with a 3 - 2 win over UT Martin on Friday.
SEMO entered the day needing Murray State to lose to Austin Peay and to win their game against the Skyhawks
The Racers lost 9-3 to Austin Peay and SEMO grabbed their final out of the game with the tying run in scoring position for the Skyhawks.
SEMO will be the number one seed in the OVC tournament next week.
