SIU beats Weber State Wildcats in playoff game

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - The Salukis were playoff bound for the first time in more than 10 years.

SIU beat the Weber State Wildcats 34 to 31, on Saturday, April 24 in round one of the FCS playoffs.

Kickoff was at 3 p.m.

SIU was one of the last two teams in the 16 team field.

Only five teams in the Missouri Valley Football Conference were picked for the playoffs.

SIU traveled to Weber State, which is located in Ogden, Utah.
