SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. (KFVS) - The Egyptian Health Department reported four new COVID-19 cases on April 8.

All four cases were in Saline County.

Saline County had a total of 2,605 positives, with 53 deaths.

White County had a total of 1,754 positives, with 27 deaths.

Gallatin County had a total of 496 positives, with three deaths.
