Shooting suspect sought, 2 arrested for stolen property
Mayfield Police are working to track down a shooting suspect who ran away from officers during an attempted traffic stop.

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KFVS) - Mayfield Police are working to track down a shooting suspect who ran away from officers during an attempted traffic stop on Monday, February 22.

Officers said they tried to pull over a blue Dodge truck on Mayfair Drive after learning the driver was allegedly connected to firing a gun within the city.

The suspect drove the truck off of the road into a yard and took off running from the area.

Police have not identified the suspect.

Two passengers in the truck remained on the scene.

Both were arrested after officers discovered property reported stolen in the bed of the truck.

Christopher Worley, 38 of Sharon Grove and Kelsey Delk, 29 of Wingo, were booked into the Graves County Jail.

Worley was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000.

Delk was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
