Perry Co., Ill. Health Dept. reports 5 more COVID-19 cases, 1 additional death

PERRY COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - The Perry County Illinois Health Department reported five new COVID-19 cases and one additional death on Tuesday, February 23.

The newly diagnosed individuals include:

• 1 female in her 50s
• 1 female in her 60s
• 1 male in his 50s
• 1 male in his 60s
• 1 male in his 80s

There have now been 3,145 confirmed cases and 60 deaths in the county.

There are currently 43 active cases and 3,042 individuals have been released from isolation.
