Most areas will be in the lower 60s this afternoon.

Soak it up, Laura Wibbenmeyer says, because a cold front will push through the Heartland tomorrow, bringing back below average temperatures by Thursday.

The front will also bring more clouds to the area, and a slight chance for a few isolated showers.

Most areas will remain dry.

The next shot at some rain will be Thursday night into Friday. Currently, it looks like the best chances will be in the southern half of the Heartland.
