46 new COVID-19 cases in Jackson Co.

JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - The Jackson County Health Department reported 46 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, January 12.

The individuals are as follows:

• Female – one preteen, three teens, seven in their twenties, one in her thirties, two in their forties, four in their fifties, one in her sixties, one in her seventies, and one in her eighties

• Male – four under ten, five teens, four in their twenties, two in thirties, two in forties, two in their fifties, four in their sixties, and two in their seventies.

Currently, 306 active cases are being managed.

To date, there have been 4,055 cases in the county, including 63 related deaths.

Thirty-seven individuals were released from isolation, in accordance with CDC guidelines, bringing the total released to 3,686 individuals.
