VIDEO: Police working to track down snack cake bandits

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - Poplar Bluff Police are trying to track down a pair of suspects with apparently big appetite for snack cakes.

Police released a video on their Facebook page asking the public if they recognize two suspects stealing a large quantity of Little Debbie Snack Cakes from a storage unit on Westmoor Drive.

The theft took place during the early morning hours of New Year’s Day.

Detectives believe the pair loaded up a Lincoln MKZ with 20 cases of snack cakes.

Police said the following is a breakdown of what types of Little Debbie Snack Cakes were taken during the early morning hours on New Year’s Day:

  • 8 cases of bagged donuts
  • 3 cases Strawberry Shortcakes
  • 2 cases Zebra Cake Rolls
  • 3 cases of Susie Q’s
  • 2 cases of Unicorn Cakes
  • 2 cases of Birthday cakes
