SOUTHERN Ill. (KFVS) - The Southern Seven Health Department reported 50 new cases of COVID-19 in the region on Tuesday, December 1.

The health department also reported 29 newly recovered cases.

This brings the total number of active cases in the region to 1,544 and 34 total deaths.
