CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A vehicle hit a utility pole, breaking it, on North Sprigg Street.
It happened on Monday night, November 30 at Sprigg and Olive Streets, near the entrance to Towers Circle on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
The road was blocked while part of the utility pole hung over it.
Firefighters were called to the scene due to power lines over the roadway.
According to police, Ameren Missouri crews had the broken pole repaired in about four hours.
No one was hurt in the single-vehicle crash.
