Showers and thunderstorms will push into the Heartland this evening and overnight. The threat of severe weather overnight is low. With that said, there will be numerous showers and thunderstorms. The highest threat for severe weather will be from 5 AM through about 3 PM on Wednesday. Damaging winds are the greatest threat, but there is a small threat for a quick spin up tornado too. Lows tonight will be in the 40s to lower 50s. Highs on Wednesday will top out in the 60s with windy conditions. Winds could gust over 30 mph outside of the storms and stronger gusts expected with the storms. Thanksgiving will be dry and seasonable with highs in the 50s. Clouds expected early in the day, with decreasing clouds by the afternoon.
