AP: Durbin wins re-election to U.S. Senate representing Ill.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (KFVS) - The Associated Press reports Dick Durbin was declared the winner in the U.S. Senate race representing Illinois.

Senator Dick Durbin took the office in January 1997. He also serves as the Senate Minority Whip. His term ended in January 2021 and he was running for re-election.

Durbin, a Democrat, ran against Republican Mark Curran.
