Home invasion in Ky.

PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - A man is wanted after police say he broke into a home and threatened two women with a knife.

Damonterius Stigger, 23, was charged in a warrant with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault (dating violence) and third-degree terroristic threatening.

According to police, the homeowner told them she was awakened just after 3 a.m. on Friday, October 16 by an argument between the second woman and Stigger. Both women asked him to leave numerous times, but Stigger allegedly assaulted the younger woman and refused to leave.

The homeowner told police she used a broom and a fire extinguisher to hit Stigger and then he left the home.

The women said he broke back in through the locked door and pushed past a refrigerator the woman had used to barricade it. They told police he grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill them, and they barricaded themselves in a bedroom.

According to police, the women were unsure whether Stigger left the house or was hiding somewhere, so they searched the home but did not find him.

Anyone with information on Stigger’s whereabouts is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550. You can also leave a tip anonymously through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers by texting WKY and your tip to 847411.
