POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - The Heartland has lost a sports legend.
Former Poplar Bluff and NFL Star Derland Moore has died at the age of 68 after a long illness.
Following his playing days with the Mules, Moore earned All-American honors at Oklahoma and was drafted in the 2nd round by the New Orleans Saints.
He would go on to become one of the greatest defensive lineman in Saints history and was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame.
