CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - A second suspect was arrested in connection to a murder investigation.
According to the Caruthersville Police Department, Dejuan Lee Hill, 20, of Kansas City, was arrested on Thursday, September 17. He was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
This is in connection to the homicide of Larry McIntyre on the morning of August 16.
The suspect is currently being held at the Jackson County, Mo. Detention Facility and awaiting extradition to Pemiscot County.
The arrest was a joint effort between the Caruthersville Police Department, Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Raytown Police Department.
Zyion Nakeith Cooper, 20, was arrested on August 20 in connection to the investigation. He was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Cooper has a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 24.
According to court documents, Cooper traveled from Kansas City to southeast Missouri on August 15 and 16.
Investigators say a search warrant was issued at the home in Kansas City where Cooper was staying. They say tread on a pair of shoes in the home matched a shoe print impression on the door of McIntyre’s home, which appeared to have been kicked open.
